I'd rather do a quick run, skipping all cutscenes, so I can quickly requeue afterwards than spend twice as long as necessary because someone wants to watch them. Besides, there are far too many asshats who AFK in cutscenes, or AFK at the starting point, and get free Tomestones. This game needs a vote kick function in duty finder groups as well as a fix to cutscenes that allows people to just sit in them endlessly. I've seen far more of that going on than actual players wanting to watch them. Besides, if you want to watch cutscenes, you should go in with friends who will wait for you, rather than inconvenience the majority of the playerbase who you know is there for a farming run. Or better yet - you can always go back to your inn room and watch the cutscenes there on your own time.

And that's the crux of the argument. The vast majority of players running these dungeons have already completed them. Yes, it's unfortunate for new players, but the fact remains that we've already done/seen this place dozens of times. There have been several very reasonable compromises and suggested improvements to the current system. At least everyone can agree that we need something different than what we have right now.
