Problems i have found while leveling as a Scholar

So you were complaining about a horrible tank that you couldn't keep up because the tank decided to eat everything. A WHM's mp probably would not last the whole boss fight trying to keep that up either.

Edit: My alt SCH has had no problems keeping people up, as long as they do not face tank things they should not face tank.... too often or they are already dead.

Consider this:
Sch+Pet heal 400(Physick)+300(Embrace) with basic MP cost or 300(Adloquium)+300(Shield)+300(Embrace) with more than double MP cost every 3sec, WHM heal 650(Cure II) with double MP cost every 2.5sec....

Which one is more powerful??

Embrace is around 250 potency due to pet not being affected by maim and mend.
Sch heals also heal about 30-40hp(4%) less then whm with equivalent spells in the same gear.

Regen(150)+Cure2(650) is about around the same as embrace(240)+adloquium(580).

You can even test it yourselves if you have 50 whm and 50sch. Compare the total hp healed from embrace+adlo and then class switch to whm and see how much regen + cure 2 heals.

I fucking love Scholar. As a healer, our MP management skills and our actual personal dps under Cleric Stance is higher than other ACN variants. Yeah, the pet is a little dodgy but we have a big enough toolkit to compensate. Plus, even though we wait for 40 to get our cleanse, it's LEECHES. Whether we love or hate our party members, we pack their faces with leeches!

Except for Titan-Egi, I actually have more fun questing as SCH dotting stuff up and running around in circles and spamming Ruin II as Eos keeps me up and offtanks adds.

Group healing as SCH is much more fun and engaging for me than my CNJ (Which is currently 29 compared to my SCH's 41). Personal DPS even outside of Cleric Stance is still quite high and allows me to multitask during boss fights and get them down that much more quickly. It's a much more active and less 'heal spammy' style than what I've seen with CNJ.

Definitely worth the cost. I put all my points into INT when I levelled my ACN up to 30, but respeced into MND when I became scholar with no regrets ever since. I think the difference is noticeable.
