I hope this doesn't turn into some sort of witch hunt where people with relic weapons lose their characters.
Believe it or not, some people got their relics without cheating.

Even then half of the people who did this only got suspended for a few days not rolled back.OP, which bosses are you talking about? I'm genuinely curious, not because I doubt you. I've only seen this happen in AK, and it was only once and was some inane ridiculous, unneeded thing that I don't think many groups knew about (and something I've already reported).
Edit:
Miley, I'm pretty sure he's referring to the Salvage bans. You know, that massive ban set that completely demolished some endgame linkshells?
They said they would be using Game Logs to determine the cheaters. If you didn't exploit, you will be fine, no worries.![]()
SE will have the logs of the fights and they are able to check which groups got their wins with exploits and which didn't. It won't be a "witch hunt" as they will have clear evidence and will know.
I agree with you that you shouldn't exploit a boss.. Well, unless it's completely unbeatable without it.Forcing people to exploit boss fights
But I have to ask how anyone can force someone to exploit?
Its not only Dhorme Chimera and Hydra though. Several boss exploits in AK. Qarn is littered with them, Stone vigil has 2 that I know of.
They can stop doing damage, they can stand in AOE, the healer can stop healing and the tank can just leave.
Uh you said you played WoW but never saw this much spam ? I get like 6 emails a week telling me my WoW/diablo 3 character is being banned and a link for them to steal my account info and I don't even play diablo 3. And as for spam did you never see the 50 character /sleep that spelled out gold sellers Websites in the city ? Not saying this is not a problem but it's just as bad in other MMOs that are not pay2win because the opportunity is there for them because you can't just buy gold/Gil from the cash shop. As for bottling again WoW ran rampant with it with level bots gather bots heal bots and the like so... Yeah don't really think you have played as many games as you say you have.Obviously you don't know what you're talking about, I've played EQ,EQ2,EQOA,WOW,GW,DCUO.FFXI, and have high end raid characters on all of them.
It's you that seems to have not played many MMO's. Not one of the MMOS I named above have the amount RMT SPAM,HACKING and Botting going on with the exception of FFXI. If you claim other wise you're full of it.

That stuff isn't in-game. From my personal experience with several MMOs as well, this is by far the worst RMT spam. I have never had to black list names just for the sake of being able to read the chat log.Uh you said you played WoW but never saw this much spam ? i reported these chimera/hydra exploits almost 2 weeks ago and they are just now issuing a response to these exploits.... really?
i wonder if SE knows that mages can stand on tree branches during the first boss in AK and not get hit by any attacks? even if they are being targeted.
