    ffxivSetup.exe Bad Image

    I hope someone might be able to help us out with a problem. A friend is having issues installing FF14 and he is getting the following error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    go get a proper windows installation

    Sounds like you got a corrupt copy or it's incomplete.

    Ffxiv works fine with Windows 8.

    Check if that Dll exists. If it doesn't you will need to download it and place it in the system folder.

    Also, try running installer in compatibility mode (right click > properties)
