You asking for a linkshell in uldah? unless your server is much different them mine most linkshell are wanting more people. If you are not asking for a linkshell it might be awhile before someone shouts for one.

so go shout in uldah? I'll give it a try. I've tried that before but someone cused me out for asking for something so stupid. that's why I haven't asked in game for a long time.

Lynart, wow sorry man, massive thread derailment huh. To better answer your question.. tell us a little about yourself. What are you looking for in a game, what makes you happy with a game? If FFXIV will fulfill you for a few months depends on what you're expecting.

For me, I was excited to play the beta version. FFXIV is very immersive. I just like to be immersed in good art, and it doesn't really get any better than this. A lot of people got bored but most of them rushed to the end. Even gifthorse. I'm Rank 43 out of 50 and I've just been playing casually while in school. I find the game to be very relaxing. If any of that sounds good to you you're welcome to join my shell on Besaid with your friends. Also, there's no monthly fee so on top of playing a good game you have no monthly fee.

The people saying the game isn't ready for primetime are absolutely right. It's definitely in an alpha software state in my opinion. However, while there are some annoyances it doesn't detract from how great of art it is. Post and tell us more, and I'll try to tailor my response to your expectations.

I think everyone has their own personal expiry date with FFXIV, and some people get worn out sooner than others.

this is true. mine has yet to come, and there's some missions and exploring i've yet to do.
