Selling Titan Hard mode Wins!

I don't understand why anyone would need to buy a Titan win at this point in time.
Beating Titan is the key to opening Binding Coil, which is a difficult set of dungeons that is recommended for static groups of people you can rely on.
You definitely won't be doing Binding Coil right now if you're unable to have a group of friends that can do Titan with you together.

I can imagine most of these "customers" do not belong to any Free Company, or are a member of an FC which isn't at the Titan stage just yet. If you fall in to the latter group, why not have some patience and help those people get to where you are? If your FC can't actually beat Titan, look up some strats, learn the patterns and try to climb the Titan wall together (VOIP software is really useful in this fight for calling out attacks ahead of time).

As for former, however, there are always FCs that are shouting for members in places like Ul'dah, Camp Dragonhead, Revenant's Toll etc. Only you can place yourself among a group of like-minded individuals who all strive towards similar goals. If you can't make the effort to join an FC then you're going to only handicap yourself.

What does having a relic do for you at this point other than making farming Prae/ CM/ AK slightly faster? Was it worth the 500k+? Congratulations! You've opened the Binding Coil! Now stare at the entrance at Wineport forever!

I'm sure for some people they aren't interested in BC at all, but for them it is a personal goal to finish relic. For others, it takes far less time to farm 500k than it does to gear an entire fc. Others still might not have a schedule conducive to a raiding FC that could reliably take down Titan. There are many arguments, many situations and many positions which could be taken. From what I've seen on our server groups are always looking for healers, and healers that have done it don't want to go through it again. I'll finish mine eventually, hopefully before the 2.1 nerf because I'd rather do it before it becomes easier.

I can respect that, although I'm sure there are people who are capable of beating Titan legitimately who would rather just pay someone to do it for them out of laziness. I also agree with a previous poster in that this encourages people to turn to gil sellers for clearing content. In FFXI, this mercenary behavior was actually the driving force behind a lot of RMT activity, making real money using the gil they gained from Abyssea power levelling. I'm not saying the OP is directly taking part in RMT activity but such behavior can possibly influence it, especially when people are desperate to clear a significant piece of game content.

If people do use their own hard earned gil to buy a Titan kill, then by all means go ahead. I suppose it really isn't my place to tell people what to do with their in-game currency. I just hope the relic brings more meaning to them than just simply being a requirement for content like BC and the eventual Crystal Tower.

Kind of on the fence with this.
I dont think the selling of the runs are that bad or anything. Its a way to use your skills and make money.

but

at the same time, it affects others in an indirect way. These primals are, even slightly, a way to filter players.
Even irl we use filters to avoid gunk clogging the drains in the long run, even if it means the water is slower to drain at the top.
The whole thing is a domino effect that may end up biting our backside in the future.

The game just came out a month ago officially.
Titan is only the first of many filters.
