Do you guys think selling runs is morally wrong? Some people have the skill but cannot find others that are able to do it or no one is willing to stick it out.

I meant no offense to the LS/FC selling runs but I feel like people who buy runs typically perpetuate gil selling and in turn ruin endgame. Allow me to explain: The way I see it, if you can afford the (over)price the OP is selling runs for, you could buy a decent set of gear from the AH and learn to achieve victory through hard work. People who have 500K to spend just to win one fight typically buy gil, maybe that's not the case always, but that has been my experience.

I think paying someone to carry you in content also weakens the community. The word "community" means a group of people that come together to achieve something, sometimes by overcoming difficult obstacles. Selling runs to people in your community instead of better the community as a whole is pathetic imo. I know doing content can be boring and the "me first" attitude is prevalent in MMOs, but I wish we could start working towards something we can all be proud of.

I personally needed to do Chimera and sat for 30 minutes shouting for a BRD. Originally I had leveled BRD planning to complete my first relic on it, but instead fell in love with WAR. Anyway, an FC mate was wanting to work on his relic but he wasn't yet 50 on Carpentry to make the bow and didn't have the funds to buy one outright. You know what I did? I gave him my melded bow, free of charge. I got a BRD, he got to start his relic. I didn't ask anything of him. That's how a community works. I didn't even know the guy, he was literally someone I just met but I extended a helping hand in return he helped me progress.

I had been trying for the last week and a half to find a group to do Titan hard mode and being that I just got a new job, I knew my time was very limited. I decided to contact this group and discussed my situation. They formed a group for me within 2 hours and cleared Titan with a 1 shot. It was well worth it. I didn't even have to participate if I didn't want to. (but I still did )
