But I feel bad for the people that missed the world transfer. Everytime I look on the NA JP forums I see people making posts trying to find the last few english players on the server (EX: Ridill). Can't help but feel sad.

I don't feel sad for them. Just like getting Legacy, the option was there for a long time, if people missed it, it's their own lazy fault.

Pretty much this, if it was a big deal to them they would have payed attention to the news if they knew they would return to the game. SE sent emails etc for those that didn't check the lodestone or forums.

Totally disagree with this. Some people don't have the time to follow a video game, especially when you couldn't even play for a long period of time. Many 1.0 players quit early on and forgot about the game, maybe only got interested in August, now they're stuck on JP servers.

Sure if you're a hardcore fan you would know about it, but if you're only mildly interested in the game you got screwed.

Would be nice for SE to allow those who haven't used their server transfer yet the opportunity to do so (to servers with space available).

I doubt everyone coming back (EA/Opening) or did come back to say phase 3 or 4 realized the the deadline. Not taking action on which you didn't know action must be taken isnt lazy -_-.

Although its hard to allow for too many people to server change now, specially without restrictions, for the first month at least because the servers are going to get slapped every which side and having randoms rocking the boat wouldn't help anyones experience.

I thought there was to be another server transfer few months after launch, once the game settled down. Not sure if that was paid though...


Also those server applications should be in game and not out of game :/ (we who stay updated via forums are very easily and obviously not the majority, and via website I assume is the same case).

I liked their character change for 1.0 players, it was "HERE IS YOUR CHARACTER CHANGE, RIGHT HERE" .. maybe they should even add a captcha lol

There will be a paid World Transfer service.

They sent a lot of emails on this though, multiple times even. So there was a lot of notice. Besides the entire process took like 5 minutes and you had a couple of weeks to do it.
