Nomore Quests. Where to go?

Hello guys, im pretty new to the MMO scene but ive come across a problem, im currently lvl 39 and cant for the life of me find any more main quests, i couldnt complete the level 35 dungeon Temple of Qarn but i did manager to do Cutters cry, im currently stuck on a Jap server due to not getting my codes for days after the release even though i pre ordered and until server transfers become available i cant seem to get a competent enough group to complete Temple of Qarn.

So my question is, is this the only way to regain my main quest or is there a way to get it elsewhere? I really dont want to grind fates as they are so boring. Any advice/help would be great.

Your story line (main quests) quests take you beyond 40 for sure. If your storyline is sending you to the temple then you have to wait it out in the duty finder till you get a group to complete it. What is the name of the last quest in the completed tab of your journal?

Eyes on me lvl 35. Im pretty sure it was the quest leading to the Temple dungeon, i have tried for days and days for a competent group to no avail. I have literally ran it 200 plus times now. My friends who are all on another server can do it easily due to them all communicating and such, Ive just hit lvl 40 and im worried ill be wayyyy to far ahead of my main storyline by the time transfers are available and im able to complete the dungeon. Do i just stop playing and wait for transfers? Is there a way to carry on my main quest without the dungeon being complete?

The Temple of Qarn is an optional dungeon and not part of the storyline, just like Cutter's Cry.

Maybe you missed to accept your next storyline quest - Seems to happen to a lot of people because they pop up with a delay after turning in the previous one. Try heading to the church near Camp Drybone and see if you can accept the next quest there.

If Efrye's suggestion doesn't work, try going to any zones mentioned in your last Main Scenario quest in your journal and look for the Recommendations option in your menu (If you use the micro-menu, the red icons in the bottom-right of the screen, it will be an option when you click the icon that looks like a list, you will have to look for it if you use the gamepad or ps3 menu). It shows available quests in your current area and gives priority to the main story quests, the ones with the meteor icon.

If you have an iOS device you can download the Libra Eorzea app. Look up the last story quest you did and it will tell you the next and who to speak with to activate it.

Yeah, JP is best if you are going to abbreviate it.

Be sure to look in your completed quests panel under story, sometimes a person will tell you where you need to be in there to continue. I know i missed where to go to continue, and it told me in there to go back to Aleport. Also, a good thing i learned to do is keep checking "recommended" under the duty list button (also has timers). You can set it to come up on entering a new zone, and it really helps finding those quests you might have missed.

There is a level range though that will actually dry up for quests, 46 (or 47, i forget) to 50. You will be grinding dungeons or fates for those levels, so get ready. If you are a tank, it's not so bad, as dungeons pop quickly, but if dps, fate, fate, fate. etc. :P

Gotta know your history brosef.
They used the slang "Japs" back in Pearl Habor when they went and attacked the place. The Japanese bombed Naval ships.
This took place during World War II circa. 1941.
Even if you refer to the server, still, don't say it. It's quite rude.
