If they institute a name change feature, they need to:
- Add a feature where you can display the "formerly known as" name in search data for that character.
- Automatically update Blists with the new character name.

Supposedly blacklists already do this, and if so, that sorta removes any reason for your #1 point too.
Besides that, people keep the same character ID on lodestone, so if you really want to be some creepy stalker, you can just bookmark people in case they change their names.
Since you guys still complain about that black list thing, there is your proof that black-listed individuals name changing will NOT affect your gameplay.
