If there is no restrictions in place for Fantasia or a Namingway item the anonymity alone will destroy guilds when the unscrupulous see a moment of greed to rob people blind with no repercussions.

GLOBAL NAMES. Not only would such a system hold jerks accountable even if they name change, it would also make life easier when playing alts, adding people to friend/black lists, and player search.

Is there still really no name changes? That's kind of a basic for MMOs... I'm really disappointed that if I want to change my name, I'd have to restart. I chose a name rather quickly, because I didn't want to sit around for a week deciding on one I wouldn't regret, and now that I have a better idea I'm out of luck. :<

Yes, I looked through the forum. No, I did not see dev posts about this. This is a very large forum so please don't tell me to look harder - I searched! I saw people mention that devs have said something about it, but I cannot find the source (and no one links to it...). So! That said, if there has been further news, feel free to direct me to it! :3
