Constant Lag Spikes

I've had LS members complain about this issue since day one and I never experienced it myself -- until tonight. Makes a fun and fairly straightforward fight like Ifrit pretty difficult with the whole raid freezing and rubberbanding every few seconds. My internet connection is completely fine at the moment but the game is nearly unplayable. I have pretty constant lag spikes where things freeze up for a second and every now and then I experience freezes for up to 5 seconds or so. I feel terrible for folks that are having this issue all the time...

I am also having this problem. Everything freezes then speeds up then freezes then speeds up over and over again. I called my ISP they say there is nothing they can do. I have reset my modem and even tried a different modem. Played with all settings down even though I have rig that can play on high settings. Nothing I do is working.

I just wish I knew a way to fix it.

same here, got error 9000 then 2002 wtf? when i returned to the game the lag was and still horrible, even though on the lobby says connection excellent yeah right...

Now everyone is having the issue I got a couple days ago.

This happens to me furiously, and I know it's not P2P throttling I've been through the ringer with my ISP on it and they've been very diligent about reviewing all of the data I give them.

ISP: Brighthouse Networks
World: Excalibur (but it happens also on every other including JP)
Country: USA, Florida
Occurrence: Always and forever since the worlds were expanded and login concurrency was upped

Steps taken: New router/modem, opened recommended UDP/TCP settings stickied on these forums, bypassed router for direct 4 foot ethernet connection on a UPnP enabled Modem.

Internet speed: 15 MS Ping, 40-46 MBPS Down, 2.10-2.30 MBPS up.

ps. I run at constant 60 FPS and this game ran immaculately prior to the dreaded 8 minute maintenance follow up to the world expansion. SE did something weird.

I'm also having this issue. Was running the game perfectly before, starting yesterday the lag makes the game completely unplayable.

Same here, I was fine up until last night, then i couldn't even go through a duty. I was mining before that and i thought I would have the 90k error a few times. I never had that happen before and when i look at my send/receive, generally i was sending about 80, but my receiving would drop down to 0 every so many seconds. Between that I would receive from 200-2300 depending on what's going on. I did notice occassionally my sending would goto 0, but that main problem is if i'm not receiving any game updates, everyone just rubberbands around me.
