    Their customer support is horrible, like it always has been for the last. They wont take 3 credit cards, 1 bank card, and two different paypal accounts. This is outrageous, and almost as bad as it was when they first changed over to SE accounts. If they can't provide functioning payment services I request free service till they do. This is not uncalled for or too much to ask, especially if they want to keep any paying customers.

    In fact i got the same idea. I mailed them to say that, and i got a reply-type email telling me their shit. (ID account, bank account, where you live etc etc...)
    So i reply them and i'm waiting for their answer...It's been 2 weeks now i cant play because and under the responsibility of SE.

    I'm thinking about US people (cos i'm french and we dont have it, basically we dont have this form of civil law in europe), which can pursue with "class action". The intent could be "impossible to pay with CC while the game has been bought." it's obviously their fault and we cant play anymore (after one month offer with the game). Then they have to free all acounts until they fix the pb. Can US people do that in mass?

    After the trial period, I'm now locked out of my account because I can't further subscribe. Kept saying Error401 on and on and on. Come on SE!! Time to do something about this.

    Finaly took my payment from my CC

    Just a little background info first. I played FF11 for a long time and never had this problem with the POL payment methods. When FF11 migrated to SE accounts were crysta was introduced the only other payment method was 3rd party clickandbuy. I guess clickandbuy was like paypal or something like that so I added my CC that way. But clickandbuy kept charging some annoying little international fee to my bank. I don't know why SE can't just use some payment method in the US.

    Latter still pre FF14 an option to put in CC info with out 3rd party showed up. I was never able to change to this kept getting 601. So I kept CNB and kept getting stupid international fees.

    I stopped playing FF11 a while back but still popped in some times. later i realized way back in feb CNB stopped paying SE so that account was on hold. but time I noticed it CNB was taken away as an option. But since I was in beta 14 I checked to see if CC option worked now but it was still given out 601.

    Even with 3days left on the freedays this week I was still got 601. But today I was going to final give in and try this crysta thing.

    I did this from the Mogstation. Clicked the bottom to start the subscription wizard. picked the 180days I wanted. then selected the crysta not CC. Then it showed how much crysta I needed since I had 0. The buy crysta then wizard asked for payment option I selected CC but the center box was blanked out (to fill in CC # date etc). So it was part of another web site so temp allowed all to "noscript" addon.

    Then the same stupid CC verification popped up but this time it skipped to the end and never asked for CC and gave 401. I have never had the 401 error before.

    So I gave up with crysta and went back Mogstation account page to start over and try the normal CC sub. I put in the CC and for the first time I got a little blue progress Icon that flashed really quick and the payment went.

    SE payment ver is very bad never had this problem with any website before and card works all the time at BNM stores.

    So to sum so try to add crysta first with CC let it fail then try the normal Sub with a CC.

    Of course SE could of ninja fixed this by changing to a new verification provider in the last few days.

    Mog station finally accepted my cc!!!! It only took a week but hey looks like finally something is going right.

    Error Code 24202? Try using Internet Explorer
    For those getting ERROR (-24202) after trying to submit CC subscription payment, try again using a different browser. Switching to Internet Explorer (9), instead of Chrome (30), resolved the issue for me.
    Read this resolution in another Forum, but the OP was receiving the error on FireFox.

    I am seriously tired of this 401/601 error. My card has been charged 7 times of $1.00? Will I get this back? I sent out two tickets yesterday only to get a 48 hour reply resolution... I am frustrated that $7.00 have been charged along with not able to play this game. I live in South Korea and I am no amateur when it comes to computer knowledge. I have tried ALL the suggested advice above and to no success, I failed hard! Correction, except I haven't tried to send my credit card scanned to Square Enix... I don't understand why that has to be done anyway, seems like fraud to me. For a payment system difficult as to pay using a credit card and not accepting payment, it's just absurd! What do I do? Wait... bah!

    721 posts and this is an on going problem? Where the F*** is the fix?
