Glad that trick worked for you, unfortunately it didn't for me, ohwell.FINALLY ABLE TO BY CRYSTA FROM MOGSTATION i use the xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx trick and it worked with the same card that wouldnt let me get anything yesterday....weird indeed RELIC HERE I COME... is what i would say if i did not make the mistake of reinstalling my game....gotta wait for updates...but hey... at least i will be able to play it!!!! I bought the platinum devotion item one day, next day I tried to buy it for my partner but it declined and gave me 401, then I tried it on a red metallic dye and it went through, then ever since it has just been permanent 401/601errors... makes me feel like they're doing it out of spite. And now theyre constantly locking me out of my account now because I got angry and tried to purchase ONE simple item I already bought multiple times with the same card I've used for a year on the only account I've ever made... Thanks SE, thanks. It's called common sense and problem solving, try learning these skills.

I think you should wait for 30 days Cutish from the day that you getting the error. Maybe you already try multiple times until it lock your payment to 30 days. After 30 days you try the xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx trick. I think it will work. Most of us didn't know our payment lock duration and simply spam it when it still in locking duration. Then when we getting the error again, the lock renew and when will it unlock, we should manually calculate it. Thanks square N/A you were really helpful (sarcasm). Bublex if you read this, please ask your Square support colleague to fix this.
Getting the error. Tried using all 3 browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox). Tried putting spaces in every 4 card numbers of my Visas. Tried buying Crystas. Tried Paypal. Tried buying timecards.

I'm basically knocking on the bedroom doors of SE, waiting with a silver platter of dolla dolla bills but their still not taking it.
I am able to pay now through mostation and buy stuff like fantasia, name change, etc. without problems so far. My problem began about the 3rd week of November 2014, and was resolved exactly 30 days after. Apparently because I didn't know that multiple attempts in one day will turn the 24~72 hour lockout into a 30 day lockout (you'll only find this out if you contact customer service, by the way ), I had to wait 30 days. I did and well, I'm happy for it, but I see others are still experiencing problems. For players who are using mogstation for subscription, if you are for some unexplained reason still unable to subscribe via mogstation, try the SE Online store, via this link http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...334191b233c841 . Just to confirm the site of the SE store is NA, so I'm not sure if it works for EU accounts, but since there is no specified region, I'm assuming it should work.
Basically the SE Store is at the moment the only work around for error 401/601/406 for trying to re-subscribe to the game. It's a 2-month time card, which is pretty nifty ^^. Sadly though you won't be able to buy anything from mogstation until they implement a workaround to purchase crysta, or re-work their automated purchasing system in Mogstation. I hope this helps![]()
Just got struck by the 406 monster myself trying to add a card after using time cards.. Mog Station is simply giving me a 406 error with no relevent info to it, just to "resolve the issue", prettymuch. Funny part is this card is the EXACT SAME CARD USED PRIOR TO THE TIME CARD. What gives, Squeenix? Do you not want money that badly?

I have contacted customer support and was told to provide personal details along with a picture of my ID and the last 4 digits on my credit card. It's been 24 hours since I've last sent and received an email. Could be that it is a Saturday and customer service is unavailable. Just my luck.... I wanna play so bad ):

I'm having the worst of luck with the payment system with errors 601/401 galore.
Had to resort buying a game time card to play but the main problem for me is that I want to transfer my character to join some friends but this is not a possibility for me as I tried everything I could try whether its the space between the numbers, trying on IE for no mods interfering, contacting support (which gave me an e-mail about stuff i already knew and checked(prolly copy pasta)), trying to buy crysta, making sure everything is entered correctly.
I swear they should dump the global collect and rework their payment system because it's giving me a headache.
If I could know how long my account would be locked from payment in details, at least it would be enough. Now i'm stuck waiting until a day and hope it works which was not the case when ultimatepay was still in business since i could easely buy crysta that way...
If anyone is wondering, I'm using a vanilla Mastercard gift card with enough funds on it.

I've sent int he photo ID and the picture of the CC and no reply. This is outrageous. You'd think if people were willing to spend money to play their game they make it do-able, right? If I have to waste the 30 days of sub, waiting so I can transfer, I wont be coming back. This is extremely disappointing.
i Agree with Bucket , my friend also plays this game and she was force to get an Game card , im not gonna start doing that spending 30$ just so i can play , after me and my girlfriends subcription goes off, that's it we quit , and moving over to elder scrolls .
