Well, after 20 hours my game card arrived from game.co.uk, and SE's shitty site accepted it. So it works for NZ if any other kiwis are getting shafted by SE on this too.

The 60 days should buy me enough play time to get past these subscription problems.

Just bought a 60 day timecard from games.co.uk, applied fine, service updates and am online right now, playing.
Check that, Japan server list is down lol. The irony.

Ok I am in playing.
So for any other Aussies (possibly others, I guess), I used a 60 day game card from games.co.uk to renew and it worked fine. In my account info, I am registered to Europe/Other, but am playing on a JP server (might be relevant, I'm not sure)

How did you prurchase this? Do games.co.uk (are you sure that's the correct URL?) email you a code or something? I just wasted $25 on an Ultimate Game Card from EB because Ultimate Game Card's website said it was valid for FF XIV:ARR It's not or at least not from Australia.

Sorry, game.co.uk is where I went. Yes they email you a full invoice with the Game Card number immediately for you to enter into SE's website, which is what I did, and am now activated with 60 days (confirmed this as I received the 60 day Veteran rewards in-game).

Also, the site uses PayPal
