Payment Method Registration Errors [Error Code 401 and 601]

So... after trying to setup a subscription yesterday and getting the 601 error with three different cards, I came to this forum to figure out just what I was doing wrong. After reading all these problems and general lack of help people were receiving, I was getting pretty discouraged from attempting any more to continue playing. (which is a total bummer, as I'm really enjoying this game so far.) Anyhoozle, I decided to try once again after waiting the 24 hours. This time before I tried to add a subscription to my account, I registered a payment method first. I don't know if that was indeed a solution, I could have just gotten lucky this time around, but I was able to sign up for a subscription after doing the registration.

Hopefully this helps anyone else who's been having the same 601 problem.

I did this. Now i can register my card, but at last step, error 401 pops up.
Now i'm being charged by 1 dollar every time i try. What shit service, my god.

I think that might be a good sign, wait for the dollar charges to come off then try again.

I didnt know this game was pay to play iam vary angry i bought a game played it got up to 42 only to find out its pay to play

Did you just buy the game on the merits of its box art or something? Have you heard of a thing called google?
Also this is the topic where we are bitching about NOT being able to pay. So essentially you picked the wrong forum to complain about buying the wrong game lol.

Depends on where you live (figure that one out). 8.99GBP, 12.99 EUR or 14.99 USD I think?

I had 9 accepted $1 charges recognized by GlobalCollect. I waited about a week for all the charges to disappear, which they did. So yesterday, I tried again, but same results - everything was fine until the final review page, and then, BAM, 401 error. I still can't believe SE has not even officially acknowledged there is a very serious problem with this. I'd like to play this game, but I refuse to buy a game card or crysta. If they won't accept my perfectly good CC, they can kiss my ass.

Bublex can you refer your supervisors or someone to this thread so they can, in turn, refer it to someone else who can actually do something about this?? Why are Puerto Rico and Guam excluded from NA region?? Why are people from other countries not able to pay?? Or the better question...WHY did SE release their product in countries where THEY DON'T support payments from?? Are we being punished and/or ignored for SE's mistake? Customer support telling people to buy another copy of the game and registering it in a country that works because your payment system is fucked up... What the hell kind of support is that?!? Wtf..
