    Of course if you choose "Update Account Information" you find yourself in the old billing site. You can then choose About Crysta, that links to this: http://eu.square-enix.com/en/seaccount/crysta Choosing Add Crysta to Your Square Enix account takes you back to the old billing site, gives you some options for Crysta amounts to purchase, but then when you do, before asking how you want to pay, you get this:

    Square Enix, if you value your customers (and of course our money, which is the bottom line here) tell us you are working with GlobalConnect to fix things. In the future, also giving tips to avoid this on OUR end would go a long way (such as using the same card for two accounts, like in the case with my fiancee and I). The lockout we are experiencing, the site errors, etc are just not acceptable.

    Biggest problem it is going be really messed up. When all the 30 day trials run out. Going to be a mess and I am sure a famous story. I played ffxi for many,many years. Once they went to a 3rd party billing system it all, but messed it up for many people. We all had to go to ultimate game card method is the best option. Unless not plan on paying for about a year, and the game card company they are own buy visa. So really good customer support. Why they never look at the many other mmos company and not see how they handle the payments is just bad management planning. Fire the planner on this. I ams Sure they could have outsource to one them and would been no problems. There system seems set up for employees not customers.

    Even though the entire 601 and 401 problem emerges for different reasons, one of the bigger reasons seem to be that people using CC's might not live in the country (or even just be on vacation) where their account was created. Ex: created in Sweden and moved to Japan. Considering a lot of time has passed since the v1.0 release, assuming that everyone is still living in the same country is plain ignorant (people DO move for different reasons). So when a payment from the new country is trying to get through, you automatically block it because the IP belongs to another country than the signup account settings country that can't be changed (that I've seen so far, can be wrong on this one) or the CC from the new and current country isn't from the original country with your old address.
    It's like saying "NO! If you move overseas, forget about your account!"
    That is NOT okay. Period.
    If you got to call support to make them change the country for you, fine. That allows us an option at least. Now we have to abandon our old accounts and buy new ones just to be able to play. Oh, and 300hrs+ worth of time that we put down is gone and no type of refund or compensation.
    Square, shape up. Now.

    If this is your way to counter RMT's you're clearly doing it the wrong way and that you can't acknowledge that is sad on another type of level.

    I highly doubt that. It is just an error processing the payment and if you try it more than one time you get locked out.

    Getting thr error from the beginnig for no reason doesn't seem to be the case. Something is making GlobalConnect to decline the request. Then the horror starts.
