Since you are from NA I wouldn't be too worried about it. You can try going to their other account management site.

I've tried enabling Crysta there, but it just gives me the error again. And the account information isn't much either. I checked for updating, but that's only for like your password or security questions.
Why is trying to pay for this subscription so hard? Why couldn't they give us a manuel on how to this in the game box? Or give us a video on how to do it or something? It's too hard to simply figure out on the internet. XP

Im hoping this happens, been a week now since ive been unable to play. This just is simply astonishing we trying to give them our money, we're encountering problems and they just don't care.
I'm living in Australia, which belongs to "Europe & Other Regions" when I first create a SE account back in ver1.0 of FF14. I don't have the option to purchase Crysta, or using Ultimate Pay. My only options are either credit cards or pre-paid game card. For c/c, I've tried all 3 different cards I have (one debit Mastercard, one Visa, one AE, each issued by different Australian Bank). After several days of trying (I think we all know this 24-hour-auto-blocking things by now), by using the debit Mastercard, the error 601 which many people has encountered finally gone, I was able to come to the final payment confirm page (or whatever that called, it's basically a table chart listing all the details), I was like "ohhhhh YES!" (BTW is this part of gameplay? I mean it really feels like I've got a hard achievement or just beat a hard boss and lot a great item lol...anyway...), then, the EPIC error 401!!
I've tried maybe 3 more times in 2 or 3 days, and then just stopped and waited since then. I've already got charged (those small 1.XX dollors), the transactions still shows as "pending" atm. I'll just wait for it to get through and maybe try again, like someone suggested in the previous page, see if it will works.
I really like the game, and I realllllllllllllllllllllllllly hate SE now. I think most of ppl here would share same feeling as I do.....
Another day without an answer. Tomorrow I'll complete 7 days without playing due to this error you still won't acknowledge. Today hoping phone support would be better than "live" chat, I waited 30+ minutes for an agent, not willing to pay any more money for a probable useless call, I hung up.
I ask again... Should I just quit the game for ever? At this point I think it'd be faster to purchase a new game, level 3 jobs to lvl50, get full relic and DL gear before I can play again.

You won't get an a answer from them. They've made that pretty clear. Our best bet is to hope that a large amount of players get stuck on the same issue once the free time on the new v2 players wears off and they're forced to do something about it. Sigh… Its pretty clear to me that their attitude towards the players never really changed from v1 and has been purely superficial up to this point.
