    Most people in this problem can't buy Crysta with PayPal. I can't buy Crysta with PayPal, Ultimate Game Card, Credit Card - and I can't subscribe with Credit Card. I checked other companies and I can use my PayPal account and Credit Card to make purchases in countless other subscription services or online stores... It's just GlobalCollect and PlaySpan that reject all forms of payment. I've added my billing information in the same way across multiple services, and it's only GlobalCollect and PlaySpan that fail each time. I know this is a Square/Enix forum and not GlobalCollect or PlaySpan forum, but Square/Enix needs to take a hint, these companies are not doing their job for you and should be dropped in favor of something else.

    ... for the record, when I contacted PayPal about why I couldn't purchase Crysta, they looked at the transaction and noted that PlaySpan cancelled the transfer. Meaning, it worked - but PlaySpan did not accept my money. Which sums up my whole experience. Maybe this exists to prevent too many subscribers from playing because there aren't enough servers yet? Who knows...

    same here... paypal shows payment going through but playspan rejected the payment even though paypal processed it.. i looked everywhere for playspan contact information... the only way i acutely found it was from paypal detailed transaction page... seriously SE? you deal with these kind of unprofessional people? anyway i contacted them and this is what they say

    So the option to pay with Crysta finally showed up, but I'm scared to try and resub causing another 1-month block on my account.

    Visa (x)
    Mastercard (x)
    American Express (x)
    Cysta-Paypal (x)
    Crysta-Credit Card (x)

    Got family in the US to subscribe (x)
    Got Family in Singapore to subscribe (x)

    With VPN (x)
    Without VPN (x)

    I have used 5 Mastercards, 3 Visa Cards, 3 Paypal accounts and 1 American Express Card.

    The reason cannot be that I am in China could it? Who else is still stuck out?

    You may also be blocked... they don't tell you this until you submit a support ticket but after the first error it's best to wait a few hours before trying again, if you don't and you do it again, you will get another error and there is a locked placed on your account to register new payments for 24 hours, if you do it again after the 2nd error, that 24 hours becomes one month. Each time you try and get an error you renew your 1 month lock on your account.

    The stupid thing is they don't tell you this until you submit a support ticket and they send you an automated response explaining the lock. The next step is to either contact support via live chat or phone and they will tell you the same thing and they can't do anything. They may take your card number to maybe put on a good card list... idk? They took my card and that is what I figured. Anyways... after that it's best to not try and register or pay for a month from the last time you got the error.

    My month should be coming up I think, but I'm gonna wait a few days extra just in case.

    If you are desperate to play while your month lock is counting down and you have a PS3 you can buy the PS3 version and add that to your account for a free 30-day trial.

    Anyways... I feel for you though and this whole thing is stupid.

    That is utterly ridiculous! Especially if they are not going to tell people that in the error message.

    And pay over twice as much as a sub? No thanks!

    EDIT: If that happens with me then I am simply going to walk away from the game. No game is worth that kind of nonsense.

    That's what I think .. Am in Saudi Arabia , tried all the things u tried.. Even had my brother at usa to try his card.. Not sure what to do anymore

    Well, I got this bug three times today. Got charged NZ$1.66 each time too! I contacted SE via WSupport. They better refund the money.

    The problem is that even if they I won't see the money until next week and I cannot afford to sink more money into renewing my sub until late next week now, so no ARR for over a week.

    As others have said, you need to dump these incompetent services, SE. I have been using a debit card online for many years now withot nay problem, so clearly those services are not worth using.
