Payment Method Registration Errors [Error Code 401 and 601]

It would be nice if SE recognized they have a serious issue in their hands, but them just looking the other way really disappoints me. I dont know if SE realizes that people are actually upset about not being able to give them money, I cant believe im actually begging to give my money away.

Yep, that's entirely your fault. And how did you pay 60 bucks for 30 dollar game? Did you get ripped-off? Again though, that's entirely on you.

60 psn collectors edition, either way if u pay for a game u pay for it all imo. Most mmos I have ever played I only payed a sub fee n that's it never for the game then for gameplay, personally I feel that's kind of greedy on SE's end. Oh well there are other games to play thanks for the rip off SE.

Well, I can't play anymore since it won't accept my credit card for payment, the exact same credit card I used to buy the game in the first place.

It only is becoming more and more obvious that Square Enix can't do anything right when it comes to online services, as much as I'd like to pretend otherwise.

Its such a shame FFXIV is on SE hands... All the things that stains this game are SE mistakes.

Has anyone got this issue resolve ? I've called the bank and confirm that there are no block, cos they can see they are taking 1 euro from me. Any news from SE ?

mmmmm, same thing here, error 401 and 601. Also, i can't even buy crysta, even with my paypal account.

possible problem: i'm in Mexico right now trying to pay my first sub... I think i need to get back to the US, register my CC and select sub then proceed with my living in Mexico.

At least thats what I think is the problem. Why i think that?

Some months ago I got the same problem buying games and DLC from STEAM, exactly the same issue... and was resolved by traveling back to the US. Then some weeks ago, STEAM gave me a "special" URL to type in my browser every time I needed to buy things from the STEAM Store while being in Mexico, and it works every time.

I wish SE could make that "special" URL or make another workaround for this to be solved.

BTW, I'm still waiting a response from SE customer service...

Oh, and I bought the collector edition (if that matters)

My annoyance here is my wife's account was subscribed 24-48 hours ago, no hitch, and then when mine was attempted, it 401'd.

The catch is: Mine didn't attempt it till the intial month had finished and hence now I am inactive.

I've tried the card my wife used, as well as my own card twice.

EDIT: I've just decided to throw in a ticket, as doubtful that will be to get a quick response. I also tried doing 90 and 30 days subscription as well as use a third card. All attemps failed.
