Payment Method Registration Errors [Error Code 401 and 601]

I helped a friend get through 601s and 401s, and here what worked in simple steps:

1- Login as usual in Mogstation
2- Select "Square Enix Account Settings >> Register/Update Payment method".
3- Update payment information, then return to Mogstation and update again payment information with same information.
4- ???
5- S--t up and take my money!!!

No reply from support so far. I'm not going to try to subscribe anymore since every failed Error 401/601 will charge my card $1.50. The lack of any response from them on this debacle is a joke.

Got locked out two days ago due to there being an error with my payment. Didn't get the email warning me until I couldn't log in anymore.

• So I went to mog station and tried entering it all again.
• Proceeded to get 401 error on 3 different credit cards from different banks.
• Checked with said banks but they hadn't seen any activity.
• Emailed support, still waiting for any reply.
• Decided to try ultimate play card.
• Found out Crysta may not be supported in my region (New Zealand).
• Currently examining what else to play since I don't see this getting resolved anytime soon.

So to recap I'm out $20 on a play card I can't use (my fault I guess).
If anyone could confirm crysta option available or not in oceania region that would be awesome. I see no option on mog station and the regular account page just gives me an error when I try to buy crysta.

From NZ here too. I tried to buy Crysta only to be met with Error 11000 - http://i.imgur.com/DQyDcCx.png

I think I am done with FFXIV:ARR until they sort this mess out.

This is just stupid.

I got charged 5 times but it didn't process once.

Now I don't have enough to buy Crysta until they refund me my pending charges which they shouldn't have done anyways!

I think it's just RETARDED that they ask you to register your CC after you just processed a payment.

Tried to do a 12.99 sub again since I figured everything was registered this time.

They fu cked me out of $1 and asked to fu ck me again... no thanks.

Take my money and let me play this damn game. Or don't so I can figure out my own way to pay it!

Anywhere from 2-7 days.

If your account region says "Europe and other regions" in the old account management page (that includes oceania players) then you can buy the FFXIV time cards with online delivery.
It's not the right solution but it seems to be the only one for us.

Tried 3 different times in a 2 week span and still get the 401 error, called my bank and they are not even seeing the charge come across! I've tried going the straight payment and Crysta routes and both were failures!

UPDATE:

Decided to submit a ticket and received a confirmation.....Let's see how long before I get an explanation as to what is causing this BS

SE account management site, its the most awkward nonfunctional interface i ever seen !!

oh, i also got the 401 error, on two cards. when going into each card detail, i see 1euro debit. which means, SE passed card authorization, but didn't complete transaction.
