I would agree with you, Pavise, as I am Australian and it isn't letting me do it but my wife used one of our cards just fine.

I really have no idea what is going on.

Well let's hope they get onto it then I'd hate to see SE lose a large portion of their playerbase due to an internal error on their end.

I'm Australian and pay through a Visa debit card just fine - I did have a major issue with the card back at the start of 1.0 service however, and it took ages before the issue was fixed. It turns out it it wasn't SE's fault or even the bank's, but Visa themselves causing the problem - they had put a block on the transaction between SE and my bank mistaking it for a fraudulent transaction.

After ringing my bank about it, I was directed to Visa to get the block removed. After verifying my ID over the phone it took five minutes for Visa to remove it, and I haven't had any issues with registering or billing through the SE Account Management system ever since.

When I tried buying Crysta, I got 401'd, when I tried to subsribe directly it was 601.
I also have no PayPal :S

If you can buy Crysta, you can try buying Ultimate Game Cards with your temp card, and using those for Crysta.

I'm getting ERROR (-24202) after trying to submit CC subscription payment

It's not even listed in the Support FAQ as an error code

Just bought a 60 day timecard from games.co.uk, applied fine, service updates and am online right now, playing.
Check that, Japan server list is down lol. The irony.

Ok I am in playing.
So for any other Aussies (possibly others, I guess), I used a 60 day game card from games.co.uk to renew and it worked fine. In my account info, I am registered to Europe/Other, but am playing on a JP server (might be relevant, I'm not sure)

yup. its silly how this has happened really. im waiting on the reply form games.uk now
