Guys,I don't have problems with my credit card..and that 24 hours period waiting is bullshit..it's supposed that I'm paying, its not fair that I have to wait 24 hours for an issue of SE..

Same issue here. Went to bed earlier this morning and all was fine and now I am getting error messages trying to update CC details. This is far from satisfactory. I have played almost all the big MMO's and never had this kind of thing happen before. It isn't my bank.
How long am I going to be locked out for now?
Not good news on a long weekend.
EDIT: Just went and upgraded to digital collectors edition and payment went through fine. There is definately something wrong on their end when it comes to subs.

I just want to put some things out there for new people who haven't read through all the posts.
1. IF YOU ARE USING NOSCRIPT on Firefox or another browser, DISABLE IT then try again.
2. IF YOU ARE ABLE to purchase Crysta (meaning you don't get an error before you are able to choose an option), you have a couple choices, either buy it with Paypal with your credit card, Ultimate Pay using your credit card, or buying an Ultimate Pay Card either online or from local stores.
If you have errors using Ultimate Pay, give them a call at (650) 432-3200, and they'll be able to push Crysta to your account.
3. IF YOU ARE UNABLE to get Crysta and your only option is to use a credit card then go to the Square Enix Account Management Page and try to update all your information, and update your credit card information there as well. Wait 24 hours and try again in Mogstation.
Notes: -Visa Electrons use Visa option, worked for some

2- I can't even buy Crysta - Error 1100 - http://i.imgur.com/DQyDcCx.png
3- Updated info and is correct. Guess I'll wait but this whole process of subscribing is convoluted and not easy!
I am geting the same 1100 error as well trying to buy Crysta. I also don't have an option to pay via Paypal. I won't say this is as big a disaster as Diablo 3 or Simcity launches but it is getting up there.1- Nope not using Noscript at all

Well, another Error 401 here. Nothing wrong with my credit card, all major MMOs accept it and bank says nothing wrong. Also, during the faulty payment process, I am being charged in Euros? I don't live in Europe ... All other MMOs charge me in USD.
Sent a ticket and still waiting ...

Sadly I had the same issue, contacted commonwealth bank and said it was not on their end and I got billed AU$1.45 6 times, (yes I was that impatient. The thread 401 said it might have been because my details were incorrect so I tried again thinking I might have hit the wrong key or inputted a slightly off date) What my bank rep said was there might be some regulations from their side because it was an overseas company which might be the problem. In the end I resorted to a website to buy game card and it worked perfectly, at the same price too. (20 euros for 60 days)
Now I just hope all those pending 1.45 does not come through, or even worse the actual subscription later on resulting in me subscribing for 2 years or I'll be extremely mad. I'm willing to put up with this crap because SE has my respect from many, many years ago (From final fantasy 4..) but I sincerely wish they can be more professional in this matter. I had extremely troubling issues during the early access as well regarding region and service account.
Other Australians who can't pay, get a 60 day FFXIV time card from a place like game.co.uk. They will email the registration number to you after a couple hours. I think it's a few dollars more expensive but it works flawlessly and at least it gets you back in the game. Make sure you have the EU region game.
SE should have worked this problem out in 2 months so by then we can forget about stupid time cards.. I hope..

I tried this. It's been 13 hours for me and I still haven't gotten it from that site. When I checked the page it now says to be released on TBD. I don't know if this is region specific, or if SE, in their quest to screw over people trying to pay them out of pure idiotic spite, made game.co.uk stop sending out the codes.
Lol they don't have enough collective braincells in their overpaid asses to even realise this is a problem.SE should have worked this problem out in 2 months so by then we can forget about stupid time cards.. I hope..
It said TBD when I bought it as well but after about 2hrs the code came through. Don't know if the weekend will stuff them around but I would think this sort of purchase is pretty automated.
You did get the purchase receipt email right?
