let me ask everyone, is this really a problem for SE?
it only happens to low number of people who don't use a US credit card or are not in the US

ye it is a problem for SE.

i mean how else should we pay if we are in another country or using a non U.S. credit card? move to the U.S.? does SE expect us to do that just to pay for FFXIV?

What are you talking about? I am using a United States Military Bank, i am prior military and i still cant pay with that card nor do i have the option to add crysta. Read prior posts before posting.

Ok nice! you should call SE because you account for paying is locked! ( SE told me about whats going on) after you call them they will unlock it and should be fine.

what sucks is that you have to wait more than 2 hours for you to talk to them.
it happened to me many times

Learn to troll. They do not unlock anything and that does not fix the problem of not having the option for crysta.

Stop trying to troll people. I think it's been well established that SE support can't do anything about the lock outs.

Not sure if someone has mentioned this. I have seen where others have used the ultimate pay through other web sites, but how i did it was to go in like your adding Crysta select the ultimate pay option. There you will have three tabs. One for credit/debit, one for PayPal, and one for other. I selected the CC/debit there and it took my card to add Crysta. Then i applied the Crysta for my service account and it worked fine. All on the Square-Enix site to add Crysta then the Mog station to activate the account. This was also done right after i had tried to use my credit card on the Mog station to activate my service account. It is definitely something on their end, but i was able to do it easy enough without having to go to game stop or whoever for the ultimate pay card.
Just my 2 cents take it or leave it. But either way it is still something on your end Square, Should really get it figured out.
