    I really fail to see the logic in statements like that. Buying the game again isn't going to fix the problem, it's just going to let you play a completely different account for 30 days before you're screwed again. No one's going to keep buying the game every month to restart the game every month (unless they're making money from RMT). Besides, physical Collector's Edition, PS3 edition, pre-order bonuses was already enough to make people rebuy the game. The errors also made it hard for people to buy digital CE, which also milked 1.0 player money. These errors are sabotaging FFXIV's revenue, not making more revenue for Square Enix. If anything, this is giving UltimatePay/PlaySpan extra revenue, because people are paying for Ultimate Game Cards instead of direct payments to Square Enix.

    Well my credit card went through using UltimatePay, but not the default Credit Card option. So something is screwed up with GlobalPay or whatever it's called.

    How did you pay with UltimatePay? cause my account doesn't give me that option, the only options I have on my account is. Sub Services, Enter Bonus Code, Add PS3 code and add Preorder Bonus code. that is all no other payment option is available to me.

    Go to Mogstation > Square Enix Account Settings tab > Add Crysta > Select amount > Next > Select Ultimatepay radio button > Select Payapl tab > Then click next > And should be like a normal transaction from there.

    But be warned if you get a 601 error it is more than likey the IP address issue I stated earlier.

    And if anyone want to maybe try to contact Global Connect here seems to be a page with some phone numbers thou unsure if they can help.

    Of course if you choose "Update Account Information" you find yourself in the old billing site. You can then choose About Crysta, that links to this: http://eu.square-enix.com/en/seaccount/crysta Choosing Add Crysta to Your Square Enix account takes you back to the old billing site, gives you some options for Crysta amounts to purchase, but then when you do, before asking how you want to pay, you get this:

    Actually, I have the same problem, I'll gladly pay with Crysta as I can buy it even from stores here, I live in Japan, but I have no option for it...

    Square Enix, if you value your customers (and of course our money, which is the bottom line here) tell us you are working with GlobalConnect to fix things. In the future, also giving tips to avoid this on OUR end would go a long way (such as using the same card for two accounts, like in the case with my fiancee and I). The lockout we are experiencing, the site errors, etc are just not acceptable.

    Biggest problem it is going be really messed up. When all the 30 day trials run out. Going to be a mess and I am sure a famous story. I played ffxi for many,many years. Once they went to a 3rd party billing system it all, but messed it up for many people. We all had to go to ultimate game card method is the best option. Unless not plan on paying for about a year, and the game card company they are own buy visa. So really good customer support. Why they never look at the many other mmos company and not see how they handle the payments is just bad management planning. Fire the planner on this. I ams Sure they could have outsource to one them and would been no problems. There system seems set up for employees not customers.
