It's not just keeping your DoTs up. You have to pay attenttion to the global DoT timer, travel time, and animation time to always maximize each DoT. On top of that, you need to know when to use Ruin II and Ruin I.

And even on top of that, that's strictly on a dummy.

In a real fight, with mechanics and invulnerability phases, it's even worse because you can't and DON'T want to just start your rotation over, like other jobs. That's the benefits of being a DoT class. If Bio II still has 10s left after a phase, you better not start out Bio II -> Miasma -> Bio -> Fester, you should just do Miasma -> Bio -> Fester. You have to really pay attention as SMN and make judgement calls.
