No, this is his/her issue.

I was at ~320 DPS when I tabbed out. It dropped because DoTs and the combat didn't end until it bled out.

You can also see how broken the parser is, because in the second I tabbed out as soon as my timer went off. The first I was trying to run out of range hoping it would end the combat--I snapped the picture much later. I'm 99% sure Shadow Flare isn't 60+ dps.

Yeah something is definitely not right. Thank you very much for you input.

The best way to identify the issue, would be :
1. parse every skill one by one. Look at their avg dmg in parse to see if they match on screen display
2. Combine DoTs. Look at screen total damage display on each tick and see if it matches the avg DoT displayed in parser. Then look in the skill breakdown and compared with the 1. test. If any skill show different avg value, then we can deduce what skills is parsed inaccurately in the parser.

ps : There is no point in trying to defend anything. The goal is really to determine if there is something wrong with the class and then only we can say the class needs to be nerfed, boosted or stay the same.
For me, it is not about a decision if we should group SMN but to make sure the SMN is in line with other dps.

I can guarantee we are.

The damage breakdown from what I posted is exactly what I don't parse, but I do pay attention to threat meters.

As I said before, they are no measure of any single instance of DPS.

However, generally, over a long period of time/samples if you're always in the same or general position, you know you're doing something more than other DPS. I am always #2 behind tank, or #3 behind a tank/healer.

Also checking out your breakdown...by my calculation...

Bio, Bio2, Miasma and Thunder should combine to do damage equivalent to 2x Ruin as the potency combined would be similar...The parse does not agree however so either I have some odd misunderstanding about potency or the parse really is still that much more inaccurate that I had hoped.

The breakdown means squat because I should be doing ~400-500 DPS if you go by that.

The DPS seems to be "generally correct" on the Basic page.
