Ping higher for US Data center than other centers (picture of test results)

What is going on? I am on Time Warner Cable in California, and I never had this problem till today after playing for like 2 weeks.

try doing a tracert to the servers?

edit: ok tried to ping it myself, the ip you have to the eu datacenter is not right, I get 37 ms and that's wrong when I know that the datacenter is in Canada and I'm in Denmark

I guess the ip you have is to the eu webserver

by doing a tracert it tries to get to eu.square-enix.com

It's either your connection, or its something on the way. I just pinged that "US" ip and got an Avg ping of 86ms, so I doubt its anything on SE's end. I would call your ISP and ask them about it. Well, I talked with support and they said that lines 1-6 in the Tracert are Time Warner Cable. The rest represents the game server. They basically said it could be firewall on your router, but since I never had an issue till today, it is likely a game server issue and not firewall.

I asked specifically about throttling, and he said the game was not being throttled.
