How bad is the teleport hackers plague on your server?

Havent seen one yet but atm im more focussed on leveling and pve, not yet into crafting so perhaps then

I don't know if this is the case for everyone else but for me this plague has made me give up on leveling gathering for a while. I'm a level 28 miner, but since market is so saturated with items from these... individuals it's a pain to even get a little return from the grinding process that gathering is (aside from spamming leves)

If only they would take the banhammer for a walk more often..

Because SE drags its feet on investigating this, it allows them to be profitable. If SE was banning these guys within the first few hours they started then the ratio of profit vs time invested (to hack accts or raise a toon to 10 to get get a gathering class) would become not favorable to the RMTs.

Yeah they are on Diabolos as well. I've seen them farming ore around Copperbell mines. The teleporting thing seems to do with stealth as they are all in stealth mode when they are teleporting-at least on their miners they were. I also saw a Glad bot farming mobs outside the Silver Bazaar...teleporting around from mob to mob. I think he was trying to get the minion that drops from them? I dunno why he would farm them otherwise, lol.

Your thoughts on the matter? I personally think this should be their TOP priority before anything else, even gil-sellers, they can atleast be blocked for the time being.

I've been reporting the same bot farming sheep for days now. I stand by him, claim the mobs and watch as he kills them the same way every time. As soon as the chocobo despawns it's up again. He never moves, doesn't respond to tells, and never tried to win spawns. If he doesn't claim it, he still kills it when I do.

No response from SE, no action. Fun...

Diabolos has LOTS!

I went to south shroud to level mining...
ran into/reported 7 bots.

All lalafel. All naked. All stealth...all running circles around me mining nodes and teleporting before i finish the node i'm on!

I play on Exodus... and you can't throw a rock in Thanalan without hitting one of these jerk offs. Nearly every node, in every zone has at least one bot workin it at any givin time. Two during high traffic. Gets aggravating watching these punks hack their way to 50, hack other players into the poor house, just cause they are too lazy to do the damn work themselves. I have no respect for someone who can't just play the damn game and you know...EARN things. There's a thought right? It's ridiculous how rampant this problem is. Some of us bust our butts at our craft cause it matters to us and we enjoy what we get out of it... If someone thinks that's too much "trouble" then go play something else better suited for a short attention span.
