How bad is the teleport hackers plague on your server?

Had seen teleporting miners before release and I also noticed a guy half inside the ground mining away just recently that teleported afterwards.

Here's a picture... with only his pickaxe showing.




once in a while you could see his head poke out... other people also confirmed seeing the same thing I was seeing.

it's a plague on Ultros at every gathering point. I'll take more screenshots. worse, though, I can't report them. the UI won't load for me ;___;

even when I report them, GM's are silent. I wonder if the Gaol was made just for show

On Balmung I've only witnessed 2 teleport miner bots (At the same location), and a single pocket of auto-farmers (with 6 or 7 thaumaturges in it, very close to the teleport miner bots). Needless to say I reported them all

I have noticed that on Balmung at least, the gilsellers are now advertising crystals as well as gil, which is no doubt the purpose behind the auto-miners

I've witnessed 3 here on Siren. I reported them of course. This behavior pisses me off.

I'm sick of these idiots everywhere. Really demotivating for those of us who are leveling the legit way. I'm surprised SE hasn't done anything about this yet. These people should be banned for life.
I'm also surprised that it's even possible to teleport around like they do. I thought stuff happened server-side and not locally? Is it some kind of injection hack?

Just get these idiots out of my game please.

I find it impossible to believe when some people say things like, "SE needs to investigate and it takes time". If it does take them that long then they need to re-structure how they police this and empower the investigating GMs. I choose to see this as the simple problem and fix that it is. If one GM per server was empowered with ban authority, all they would need to do is cruise around, spend the few seconds it takes to determine this is being done by someone, click, ban. Why do we continue to believe it needs to be harder than this?

Oh and while the GM is trucking along on his invisible chocobo he can ban the gil spammers he comes across in shout as well.

Only just picked up mining today... and in Western Thanalan (on Odin server) near Sunrise Gate, this one player has been teleporting between nodes, and mining with only the pick and sometimes head exposed from inside the node.

Reported twice in 3 hours....

what's worse.. looked them up on loadstone.... they have heaps of pets, mounts, good gear.. and are double the level for the area.. and generally look like a well played account... even has a good name....

Even if they do get banned sadly they ran rampant for too long and the damage is already done.
