Unplayable lag, internet is fine.

Getting unplayable packet loss lag in dungeons, slowly got wore and worse as the day went on and now constantly freeze up for 3-5 seconds every 10 seconds. What's going on? This is happening to all my friends as well.

edit: Getting the lag even outside dungeons too.

What's weird is some people are getting ZERO LAG, but the majority are lagging horribly.

I have pinged multiple things, including google and all FF14 servers. I get packet loss from the FF14 server but not a single packet loss from google or any other IP I'm pinging.

I've had LS members complain about this issue since day one and I never experienced it myself -- until tonight. Makes a fun and fairly straightforward fight like Ifrit pretty difficult with the whole raid freezing and rubberbanding every few seconds. My internet connection is completely fine at the moment but the game is nearly unplayable.

A lot of my LS people are also encountering this, including me. Reset router/modum to get multiple different ISP to no avail. So its not my net.. and other peoples net is fine, just game is lagging to hell.

You're not alone. I was helping friends do Ifrit HM, as a tank, I was supposed to stun Eruption. I couldn't cause every now and then, it would stop for 5 seconds, then speed up and even when I hit Eruption, it would go off.

And I have done Ifrit over 30 times. It was so annoying.. and I felt more like a hindrance than any help. :/

Had a ton of server lag in game doing mining. Went to AK and had nothing but issues the entire run. On anataboga I had 30 seconds of "nothing" and then all at once everything rushed on my screen. It was pretty terrible.

Resetting your router doesn't mean it wasn't your internet causing the problem, I know my net was bad along with the game lag, and everyone in game I asked that bothered to actually test it had issues with their net as well as the game, for once I can say it probably wasn't Square.

Most people having issues appeared to be on Comcast, though not all, which probably means congestion at a hub Comcast uses that some others go through depending on where they live.

Issue I have with that is I can load video's fine. They don't lag at all and load without delay. One of my LS members is from hawaii, one DC area, and myself from the lower states, and we're all experiencing the lag. The one in the DC area also hosts our mumble, and the mumble server doesn't lag at all(Which can be noticed by people breaking up).

So no, I refuse to believe its on my end at this point.

I was seeing some rubberbanding tonight on an AK run, lag made me eat a Fira from a random Succubus. However the queue was much shorter than normal, like 24min got in as a DPS. Did they open up the Duty Finder servers to serve more instances than they can realistically support?

Lag was so bad for me today everyone wad constantly frozen on the screen. All primal battles were impossible. I cannot play the game I've paid for, and I'm extremely -- extremely frustrated and distressed. My entire Linkshell Event I spent days planning -- ruined.

Definitely something going on today me and everyone else in ts were experiencing lag during a couple instance runs and it got worse as we went along. Hopefully it'll be fixed...
