requirement and you try to put on item level 10 gear: DENIED. At least then the most the trolls can do is put on Item level 60 whites,
which is still better than bikinis. Lol.

Wow, I had no idea it was this bad ><
Disclaimer: I'm not running anything level 50 yet, I'm going through the story on a new class, so I don't have personal experience with these fights.
But wow, again, I had no idea it was this bad >< I didn't even go into Toto-Rak until I got to the point where I could outfit myself properly. I even earned 2 more levels above the DF minimum on my Gladiator just so I could get into the next set of gear before running the dungeon.
To the (nice) people that have put up with this, you have my sympathy!
Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
You were warned.
Cash shop in, TrystWildkey out.

Garuda HM is easy like Ifrit HM. Both take roughly 10mins to beat and have a easy pattern. You don't need DL gear or even AK gear to beat her ass. Just as long as people know what they're doing.
Only geared place you need to have is Titan HM
Read the post before you get condescending please. I explicity said you do not need top end gear to beat it. You do however need something better than level 20-30.
While I agree Garuda isn't necessarily hard I think anyone saying that it is even remotely close to as easy as Ifrit is only fooling themselves. A group of people that know what they are doing could beat it with crap for gear but most DF people don't have the attention or skill to do so without help from better gear.
I think the main point ins't really weather or not if it can be done but that people queue into the DF expecting the other 7 people to carry them through an encounter without even taking a few minutes to make sure they have at least semi up to date gear. Yeah they can do what they want but they should at least consider the other 7 people that they are making it more difficult for. I know some of this is just straight ignorance and I have no issue with helping people help themselves but then they get all upset when anyone tries to explain the fault of their ways. I think also people don't understand the significance of gear at level cap because their pos lvl 30 items have gotten them this far.
Remember this thread isn't about people showing up in AF and equivalent gear I'd be fine with that especially in DF groups, but when they show up with items that should have been replaced before they even hit 50 then there is just a negligence issue there and that is inconsiderate.

Good point and we'll said. I agree, people need to have some pride in their gear selection when doing lvl 50 instances (or any instance). However, to be fair, there are also those who are ready for these instances cosmetically but they seem to think and organize chaotically. There are also those, that I've seen using DF, who abandon the fight because of one mistake or mishap even though there is plenty of time to regroup, recoup and redo. I admit, I have at times made mistakes and I like to learn from them but at the end of the day in multiple occasions I find that the major mistake I have made was using DF in the 1st place to do Hard Mode fights.
I'm just a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude.
gear restrictions mean nothing if you can swap below the threshold after. I think the restrictions will prevent you from swapping into gear that would drop you below the threshold.

Would you consider full AF and 49 HQ jewellery (not dungeon) under-geared?
