Buffs should not expire while offline.

As the title states I do not think buffs should continue to tick while you are logged out. Namely the exp buffs you get from grand companies. I used about an hour of one and then exited the game. The next day when I logged on the buff was gone. I don't think it would break the game to allow buffs to not tick while exited.

Did they change it? It was like that back in 1.0. I wasn't paying attention to it in 2.0 though. I agree that at least the long time buffs should be paused after logout

The exp buff from your FC last 24 hours, period, from the time it was turned on by one of the FC leaders.

It's not based on your playtime sadly.

Edit: Misread! My bad! Yeah, that GC buff definitely shouldn't tick down
