Please Introduce Cast-Sequence macros, or Proper Combo Set-up

A plea to the games producers to implement either a Combo list where you can pre-select combo's as seen in games like Aion online, or update the macro system to allow for a Cast-Sequence like macro as seen in games like WoW. To utilize more abilities with less bar space used.

I play on the PS3 and tend to mainly use Square, Triangle, Circle, and X for my main skills because trying to use the D-Bad mid battle can be cumbersome. This limits me to 4x4 (16) primary blocks to register skills or heals etc (And this includes having to tab between bars).

Just would make the/my world a whole lot more convenient.

I play on ps3... I don't have any issues using the dpad for skills... you can easily have your crossbars change when in combat, just have to set everything in the settings...

I believe you can also macro a skill followed by a change crossbar command... havent tested this yet, but have a quick video that has helped a lot of people here...

working on a macro video for several classes, but still working the kinks

In what way exactly? Are you using or have you tried at least Hold / Mixed mode for crossbar? That makes it much easier as you don't need to hold L2 or R2 all the time which is much better IMO in dungeons and such.

I do agree with the OP in a fashion. Some sequences are awkward e.g. pressing L2+up (my sprint command) while moving requires two hands, as your thumb is already occupied with the analog stick.

However, I don't move a great deal in combat, so it's only a minor inconvenience.

Well - I don't (even actually can't) move a much while casting so I don't experience this kind of issue much really but I see what you mean. To OP - what exactly are you missing in the current Macro system? I find it pretty flexible - you chain quite large amount of commands in there if needed.

If you feel it awkward, change it around. Move actions you need to be using while moving to L2/R2+circle/x/square/triangle and leave the one you don't on D-pad. I don't have trouble playing with that on monk which is position intensive.

Another thing is that you can't necessarily do things like in AION... give the PUG for example... your combo rotation basically starts out as bootshine, true strike, then snap fist... BUT
once you learn new skills YOU can decide how to vary it by doing either
bootshine - true strike - snap fist
    or
bootshine - twin snakes - snap fist

then even further in the game

you add the possibility of changing out snap fist for Demolish or Rockbreaker ... etc...

This makes playing your character more fun in my opinion... IF there was only ONE set to combo with then I can see a desire for an AION style button setup where the next skill replaces the first in the series.
