    Has anyone had luck contacting customer service?

    Two days in a row the live chat has failed on me as soon as I get to 1.
    I made sure my pop up blockers were turned off, I restarted my computer, and I tried IE and Firefox.
    The phone number is always busy when I call.

    Anyone have any luck contacting them?

    I wish you the best of luck, it took me 16 attempts sitting in 2hr long queues to finally get someone who was extremely rude, refused to pass me off to their supervisor, and then ended the conversation without even listening to my reply to their answer with an automated message. It was so bad. Sent an email in regards to it to Phil Rogers (CEO of NA/EU operations) who was kind enough to supply his email in the SE blog.

    My last attempt started in november 2012 for another game, as of today I still haven't received proper support for that title(they didn't care/understand/wanted to help I'm guessing).

    I don't think MOST people will ever get support for ffxiv either, I'm sorry to be that blunt, but that's a fact today, that is just true, there's people in other topics asking for answers since beginning of september or august, and I personally have given up hope on support to ever help me.I just decided that if I ever get to the point of calling for support of a square enix title, I just set it aside, since it's a lost battle.Unless you really love staying at the phone on the other side of the world for 2-3 hours paying a lot and getting the phone smashed on your face.

    If you actually call them you might get some help if they don't throw the "not our issue we can't do anything"
