    Speed of your connection has nothing to do with lag.

    Latency is more of an issue.

    Typically, you are dealing with communication issues in route, or it's simply congestion at the endpoint/server.

    Have you researched your connection quailty (netstat to find IP's, run traceroutes), or at least been in contact with your ISP to see if they can look into it?

    This guy owns the truth. On a side note, someone has the server/Datacenter's IP so I can run a tracert? I've been searching for them without success. Also, somebody knows if the use of programs that reduce latency are banned by SE?
