Just got my first tell for a website selling Crystal shards I really dont know what else to say about this.

They're easy to get, but you need infinite of them for every craft to level and there's only 1 way to get them.

I assume you spend plenty of hours gathering a few shards at a time through botany and mining, yeah? I assure you while shards are "easy to get", the fact you need quite a lot of them (especially for "hard synths") would actually make this a pretty viable market for them to do if they're not strictly selling in-game for gil.

If you want to make a few friends pets you can easily spend ~396 shards just on making pets.

I burned through 500 shards in 1.5 levels today.

Easy to get with my Botany, yes, but time consuming, repetitive, and obnoxious if you consider how long 500 shards take to gather. And the type I'm using is pretty expensive on the AH, too.

Takes me about 5 minutes to gather 100 shards, not to bad imo. It's currently how I make money 2500+ for a stack of 100. Average 20k a day just mining for an hour or so.
