<Haven> is mainly a casual-raiding Free Company. While we're progressing, if you're looking for hardcore progression, this isn't a Free Company for you. In addition to casual-raiding, we're just a friendly group of people looking to enjoy the game. We help out when we can and we accept anyone who's friendly and willing to explore everything that Eorzea has to offer.

<Haven> is a Free Company that's comprised of former Final Fantasy XI players from Midgardsormr. A lot of us are also former-World of Warcraft and Rift players. We're mainly English speakers, but we have a few from countries like Japan, France and some obscure country called "Canada," wherever that is.

As Aletreus mentioned, <Haven> is not a hardcore raiding Free Company, although there is a core of members that regularly runs endgame content. I would describe <Haven> as casually serious, or maybe seriously casual. We enjoy the game, and want to enjoy all it has to offer, but we don't get bent out of shape if things don't always go according to plan. And while there is a good percentage of end-gamers in <Haven> , there are also plenty of members that are still playing their first job to 50 (like me), and they are always welcome to ask for help with a dungeon or trial.

Hi, I'm definitely interested in joining but had a question as I come with a few friends We're all old mmo players like yourselves (least it sounds like that) who are just looking to "casually" raid now. With jobs, some people having kids, other lives, etc. we don't really want to be bound by a hardcore guilds raiding schedule, but still want to see the content and have the skill to do so.

However, we do have a few people (all 50) who would be looking to join - wanted to see if you had room for us... Monk, Paladin, White Mage (x2), Bard (x2) - there are a couple others who may/may not be interested, but they would just want to be there to be among friends and meet new people, not really do any content.

Would that sort of thing fit within your FC?

I am also interested in joining. I have a WHM who is also looking. Neither of us has our relics just yet. Relatively new 50. I've got what you see on my lodestone. WHM buddy is slightly better geared.

Would this work? We are fairly experienced when it comes to raiding. Do our homework and play nicely with ours. Good times for us is 8:00 est to 11 est. We play most nights. Thanks for your consideration.

Yes, we would welcome both of you and your friends. As I mentioned, there is a core of members who are doing endgame raids on a regular basis (regular as in "not infrequently", not "if you can't commit to raiding with us on this schedule, we don't want you"), and there are also quite a few members who are still quite a ways from endgame (and perhaps don't even care about it), either because they're new to the game, haven't been playing as frequently as others, have been focused on DoH/DoL stuff, and/or have been trying out a little bit of everything.

Send me a /tell in-game (I'll keep an eye out for you as well), and I can send you an invite. And it's not like you'd be committing to us forever -- if it turns out we're not the droids you're looking for, no hard feelings if you decide to leave.

I can attest that they are indeed a good group to do endgame with and also fun, seeing as I had the pleasure of running Coil with them over the weekend. Also a friendly bump for Haven.

I keep trying to find you online Ale, but never seem to hit the same time frame - what days / times are you all planning to do content within? The friends I have with me (and myself) are specifically looking for a group planning to run in the mon - weds time frame

McDizz, sorry you didn't catch me online. I'm usually on during the evening on weekdays and I'm on a good amount of time on the weekend.

Personally, I do my raiding on the weekends. However, with that being said, there are always people in the Free Company that are doing things during the weekdays themselves. If you want to talk more about it, feel free to whisper me ingame or any of the officers that I have listed in my original thread.
