120 Minute Queue and counting for AK - Beef up Dungeon Finder

Are there any plans to address the Dungeon Finder again... it is still lacking.


The quickest queue I've had has been 45 minutes and that only happened once. Yes I play a DPS class so the queue will be longer for me than healer/tank.

I've made it a point to ask the healer/tank how long they spent in queue whenever I happen to get in. Their avg. time is 40-60 mins. which is still to long.

Hopefully this can be addressed soon, an avg. queue time for a dugneon should be around 30mins, hell I'd live with an hour... 2 hours is a bit much.

157mins now... party has been selected, reserving instance.... party member bails, back into queue for reserving instance...

Even with pre-made parties, these times are loooong.

At 189 minutes (3 HOURS FOR MATH IMPAIRED), I gave up... and requeued for 5 different dungeons. Took a pic before I exited that queue tho :/

I'm a tank, and it instantly assembles the party, and then it's (at best in the last two days), 45 min to reserve the instance. What jacked up infrastructure is this?!

It is not a duty finder problem is more a job problem, too many dps players running for few tanks that is what makes most queue long.

Lunasea actually showed something important, if he's a Tank (like I am) and he's insta assembly the party members needed, but he still has to wait 40 minutes to get in the dungeon, that's a server problem, physically speaking, there are just not enough slots available for everyone to do Duties as they please...

The more people get to 50, the more duties/instances are gonna be crowded with people farming for Tomestones or whatever they're doing there.

I take it as a major problem...

Anyway, just my 2 gils... I might be wrong though, i'm human, we all are lol...

It is server problem. They need to reserve spot for a long time because dungeon instant is full. This is coming from someone who has every class at 50 and can play any class to get in Duty Finder quickly.

Although instead of pointing it out as server problem. I want to say it is more about game mechanic problem that ask everybody to play on the same dungeon and not provide enough available spot.

Yeah, what's funny is they increased the duty finder capacity at the same time that they made people take (and thus keep open) 30 minutes longer per AK run. When you go from 17 minute runs to 45, well...

I'm a firmer believer that WP should yield mythos stones, and for all I care, CM/CP could as well (10?20?).

That is funny I don't really stay more than 20 mins waiting for an AK run, but well if u guys say u have problem with it maybe they should take a look.

So far 30 minutes of waiting for AK with my full group (as in, we queued with a full group and have so far spent 30 minutes waiting to get in)
