    Spirits Within Damage

    I have noticed that PLD spell, Spirits Within does different amount of damage depending on when it is used. I am just trying to understand why because I do not see a mechanism that enhances its damage. In all the scenarios below, I will at maximum HP.

    Scenario 1: Spirits Within (with no skill beforehand) -> around 160 damage
    Scenario 2: Fast Blade -> Spirits Within (spamming it; before the animation of fast blade fully ends) -> around 175 damage
    Scenario 3: Fast Blade -> Savage Blade -> Spirits Within (Again, before the animation of Savage Blade fully ends) -> around 190 damage
    Scenario 4: Fast Blade -> Savage Blade -> Rage of Halone -> Spirits Within (Again, before the animation of Rage of Halone fully ends) -> Around 210 damage

    From what I see, the basic Halone combo do not have any damage enhancement aspect. However, using Spirits Within immediately after a Halone combo does the most damage for that spell. Anyone know the reason of this?

    I do not think so because right after a full Halone combo, if you wait too long and do Spirits Within, the damage goes back to around 160. If there is a hidden damage bonus based on enmity, then it should stay at around 210.

    Could you capture a vid of some longer testing to see if we can find a pattern?

    Also, STR affects mitigation for players, maybe the str down debuff?

    Are you serious with this? Spirits within has a multiplier based on your HP, the more hp you have the higher the damage. how could you not know this?

    Ok I just did some testing on target dummies. I have come to the conclusion that the result might just be the high damage fluctuation of the skill:

    I did 16 tests; 8 after full Halone Combo and 8 with nothing beforehand. Here are the results:
    Full Halone Combo:
    184
    188
    193
    194
    180
    184
    184
    194
    AVG: 184.63

    Nothing Beforehand:
    177
    178
    176
    177
    179
    187
    183
    192
    AVG: 181.25

    I think that 3 point of damage might be evened out with some more data. Sorry for the confusion guys!
