    DO NOT 'BUY ANOTHER COPY OF THE GAME' IF YOU HAVE ACCOUNT ISSUES

    Hello There,

    I just wanted to throw this out to the people that are having account issues where you cannot recover your account. While I understand it's frustrating and inconvenient for you to not be able to access your account, purchasing another copy of the game so that you can play IS NOT the answer to this problem. By doing this you are telling Square Enix that having piss poor customer service is OK and that if they screw you over it doesn't matter, because they will get more money from you since you'll just throw more money at them.

    Please, PLEASE rethink this option before doing it.

    While I agree that individuals experiencing account issues should not purchase another copy of the game just to play, I cannot agree with you blatantly insulting customer service as a whole simply because a few out of a million individuals are having thee types of issues.

    While I don't fully support their decisions or how they handle things at times, I won't go blame the entire support staff for the failure to resolve a situation. Instead, provide as much detail as possible and continue to follow-up even if they don't ask you to. Nothing says "fix me" like sending an email everyday and calling everyday to complain, because eventually they won't be able to prioritize anything other than YOUR case. Be productive, don't resort to name calling.

    Definition of piss-poor:

    -of a very low standard.

    I have followed up many times with their customer support only to be met with nothing.
    I followed the directions of their customer support only to be met with no able body that can assist with my issues.

    If this is not low standard, then I don't know what is. SE does not communicate with their customer base and even when they do, the information is either wrong or uninformative. When I used to work at customer support, I don't close tickets until I actually resolve them or I know they will be resolved by someone. For the latter, I actually follow up with them to ensure that the ticket is in fact resolved.

    You can sit and wait around for your problems to resolve themselves, but me? I like to solve them.

    Too late, I activated a WoW trial and am wishing I tried the game out years ago. The game is amazing and this is yesterdays junk to me now. To think I was really enjoying the game before this happened and was probably going to be subscribed for a very long time...
