To live Each day is a Hell of a Miracle
It's not a fix. It's a stopgap. It is SquareEnix' responsibility to fix their system, to serve their customers, to meet a perfectly rational expectation. That is, I want to pay with my credit card! Or PayPal, or whatever, I suppose. I don't want to pay extra--even a little! I don't want to pay for an expensive long distance call. I don't want to wait through hold lines just to get what they promised.
The fact is, I want to play the game. I really do. I will jump through some hoops. But Customer Service acting like there's no problem with no word of recognition (if there is, point me to it please), is a slap in the face. I play FINAL FANTASY games for fun; I can take a few slaps in the face. But that kind of attitude is simply wrong. You can't treat people like that. It will come back around. It's going to come down on you, SquareEnix.
If you actually don't want the overload of customers. Fine. I understand. But come out and say it plainly. Say, we are no longer offering service to certain people, in certain locations, with certain issues. And then, provide refunds where refunds are due. That's the path. If not, fix the problem!

Unprofessional.
Sums up my experience with SQUEENIX this past month. I waited a full 24 hours to try my payment again, and once again it has failed. I won't even get into the laundry list of hiccups and bumps in the road, because we're all well aware of them. This has officially been the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I wanted to like this game so badly, but I just can't realistically back a company with this many glaring issues, and this poor of customer service. Unless they have some kind of monumental turn around within the coming days, I'll have to silently bow out. It simply isn't worth the headache.
inb4 "goodbye posts"
It will be interesting to see in 15 more days when people with the 30 days free start getting this problem. SE has the worst customer service I have ever seen in an mmo.
Actually. The Timecards needs to be released in US. UGC only does 10 and 20 or 50 I believe, you have no choice but to 20 dollar it.
We can all agree SE is just...bad at handling things on here it's ridiculous. I'm fixin' to put this at #1 worst company for MMO's.
Just not their forte with handeling these MMO's. Dunno about XI but man.
I may get banned for saying it but come on SE...

I'm paid up and sub is working fine.
This solution does NOT work for all countries. Australia for instance does not deal in Crysta last I heard.
Some people have no choice but to pay with a credit card. A card that is getting knocked back with errors.
Errors which Square Enix refuse to acknowledge or fix.
I can confirm that 'physical' Ultimate Game Cards work for adding Crysta...they will decline initially but as mentioned in another thread you have to call them and PlaySpan will add the transaction to SE manually.
This workaround is F'ing ridiculous and I was seriously on the verge of just quitting over it, but whatever.
I tried 3x Credit Cards, 2x Debit Cards, 2x PayPal sources, CC through Ultima +Crysta and buying UGC from Walmart (which also declines)...I finally just drove to Gamespot and nabbed some cards and went through the PlaySpan call process.
Good luck all, this is horrible.
..also, the reason for the Ultimate Game cards declining is because of a 48h Ultimate pay lockout they put on the system after a certain number of failures. Whether this is tied to the SE card add 601 lockout, I doubt it..but you never know.
