Anyone found a way to fix it? Everyone freezes for a sec then speeds up then freeze then speed. I need to do Titan this is really frustrating. I have tried different modems restarts harrassing my ISP.

SE please tell us if there is something we need to be doing.

My rig is tuned to play this on high and I turn all graphics down nothing is helping.

I'm lagging so bad right now I cant even mine.... I did titan last night and had 5sec lag spikes every min or so.

I've had the lag since early access but recently it has skyrocketed to a new dimension. I pinged the server I was connected to from castrum second boss to the end of the instance and I had 13% packet loss and 140ms average latency.

I've had the exact same problems on Hyperion. I've been plagued with 90k error worse than BEFORE they fixed the damn thing, the LS I'm in has been unfortunate enough to hear my grand returns back to game with #&Q*@!#(%* this and (#Q(*&@$#)%@# that, just severely annoyed. I called up my ISP and they assured me it wasn't an issue on their end, but multiple friends were having no problems with XIV, so I was severely confused xD. Luckily, (for me and not the poor guy I saw shouting), I saw a guy shouting asking if anyone else was experiencing these symptoms. *FINALLY* someone else, my PC isn't cursed, my net is fine, no more panic from me. All that said, as of early this morning I was running fairly smooth, possibly due to the decline in numbers as the night progressed. About to jump on now and see how it fares, if nothing else maintenance tonight should fix...lol...

I wasn't experiencing anything at first when some people would complain or ask about in during my AK runs.

But recently these past two days this lag has been quite annoying at times. I still manage to run through AK just fine but taking a while to see the tank pulled the mob is a little doo-doo.

On Excalibur here, and had awful lag yesterday. Today it was a bit better, but at times in Amdapor Keep I got the same lag as you are describing- Hame freezes up, then runs faster. The others in the instance didn't have it. I hope SE acknowledges the problem soon.

This is me "dead" in a Ifrit fight yesterday:



At least half of our group was having horrible lag issues. Today it wasn't just as bad but close to it when we were trying to do Garuda: people weren't able to see her at all and during some fights I saw things a few seconds later than when they actually happened. It seems though at the problem only starts occurring when more people come online, at least on the NA server I'm playing on, as I'm able to do instances in the middle of day (EU time) no problem, but in the evening it's like this.

The game is unplayable with this instance lag.
