I am totally disappointed with it.
I bought a spear 2 days ago about 250k, and now i will discard, or convert it!

We can't go with this. Please unlock this, not green item, not pink, not blue. Only normal equip. Delete Binding status. Ridicolous!

Better solution... Don't buy extremely expensive equipment that you don't plan to keep or convert.

Let's be realistic here. If people can just sell their old equipment back to the market, the market will become severely flooded with that old equipment removing any incentive for those who might consider crafting for money. As is, due to players being handed new equipment all the way to level 40+ by means of story quests and instances, there isn't much demand for crafted gear in the market. With all this gear being thrown at the player the economy is actually worse off. If previously worn equipment could be resold, it would only further devalue crafted items and essentially render most of those classes worthless except for the purpose of making artifact gear.

Sorry about your loss, but 250k really isn't all that much. Go grind some FATE.

I do think it's hilarious that run fates comes up as a solution to gil issues. Guess what, fates give extremely poor return on gil. Stop following what everyone else is doing, they are leveling not making money lol.

On the contrary, I only do fates for money, seals, and chocobo rank. I am/was well able to level without the need of them. *note* I do however, follow "rules" and remove my chocobo for boss fates. (Should someone feel the need to lecture me on that)

If they spent 250k on a weapon that wasn't artifact, then either they were stupid, desperate, or they clearly had the money to spend. So no pity is given.

Higher level fates give out more than 100 gil... They also give out seals for GC, which in turn can be used to purchase things to either sell to an NPC or list on the market. Provided you aren't running those fates in level 40+ equipment (because of eventual repair costs), you can make that 250k back within a week. You need to stop hanging around in those level 20-30 zones for your fate grinding.

If you bought a white item for 250k then you got ripped off, that's on you !

Next time be more careful of what you buy.

You can earn steady money doing guildhest/guildleves also, Fate are useless for making money.
