Actual wars in the future?

Just a random thought of mine, considering the maps are huge... what are the odds of some cities actually GETTING attacked?

I know the following would put a heave strain on the servers but having instanced wars kind of like the invasions in the past or the wars in Ath urghan (I always get that name wrong sorry) wouldnt it be nice to actually have wars? I think it would be a neat giant pve content, furthermore, the ability to ride the chocobos we raise into war...of course that would be class specific (lancers for example would have an easy time fighting on a chocobo while a conjurer not so much).

I think it would have an actual feel of a "real world". While Im on the real world note... why couldnt there have been festivals during these past days? Concerning the coming of the 12 archons and everything... it would have been nice to actually see the festival going on instead of having to read it on the forums.


I for one never bothered to read the "hatching-tide" posts because dunno...I didnt felt like it till a friend pointed out what it was about.

The world as it is now feels still, like its stuck inside time or Atomos haha
