Imagine a game with no levels

and combat where position mattered

a game where linkshells could band together and make houses and ships

a game with a rich story

where you are free to play your own customised class

whatever happened to that game?

I don't know Gifthorse but that's the game I signed up for.

I read XIV interviews and was amazed at what I was reading. I just couldn't wait for it to come out since it sounded like a MMO I could only dream about. However, that's not the case and that vision seemed to have changed a bit. Even when I first joined the first thing that hit me was the level bar.

I still hope Yoshida pulls this off but I don't know what happened to the original plan even with Tanaka as leader.
