    AFK inside instances

It has been about a 1 in 3 on average cases where 1 individual AFKs the entire run of Castrum Meridianum.

Sometimes, they just sit in viewing cut scene the entire time and don't get kicked or they actually view them and go through the click throughs, but just sit at zone in.

My guess is they are at work and logged in for easy leeching 100 tombstones.. there needs to be an easy in-game method of reporting people for pulling crap like this.

Have a command that when you target someone and type /report a small box pops up to explain the situation. They already have the details about what zone you are in etc.. and they can easily pull the server logs to see if that person participated in any battles etc.. this is affecting the players that are actually participating while a bum just leeches AFK and still gets the 100 tombstones.

Perhaps an option where if they dont contribute in the boss battles they simply dont get the tomestones at the end of the run? Miss one battle could be an oversight or overzealous players running in causing someone to get locked out..However i think the chances of being locked out of every boss instance is close to 0...

This happened to me a few days ago. And the idiot didn't even reply as we constantly asked if he was there. Fortunately, the majority of the party (both tanks, both healers, and 1 attacker) were from our FC or a friend. We all talked it over and decided to leave, even the other two attackers despite looking forward to a queue again. We all agreed that carrying that lazy attacker was far more annoying than having to wait again.

It was much easier for me to leave because I was in the "instant-in" group, but y'know. I don't like carrying slackers. They never even said "brb," or "afk 15m," they just stood there like a statue for 12 minutes. I won't tolerate it.

Yeah it's becoming a trend on NA/EU data center and it's pretty hilarious (because people get upset when you call out the playerbase) and pretty sad because this is exactly what the duty finder allows - If it was server only community, said person would no longer ever do events as their reputation would be shot and they'd have to reoll, server transfer or try to get away with a name change.

    A million times this.

The community has proven time and time again that if you give them any form of anonimity, they will be dicks. Making the duty finder server only would stop that right quick.

The reason you have people AFK in dungeons, and trolls/jerks ruining DF parties, is that they know you are stuck with them. I can't stress enough how much a "Vote to Kick" option is needed.

If you rush through the dungeon fast enough, some people who are actually watching them will be stuck in a long chain of cutscenes.

If that's happening the person would (should) speak up. The cases where it's really leeching is the ones where checking your map reveals that they haven't moved.

I also agree with the Vote to kick option, it takes care of leechers and trolls alike. While I'd also probably sign off on duty finder being server wide instead of spanning multiple servers, it would further limit the number of people available for a duty and potentially increase waits significantly, not to mention, it's fun to see some new faces, when they are decent folk.

Before someone comes storming in here (oh and they will) with the "it wil b aboosed!" argument, keep in mind that "that other game" has a system in place to prevent people from simply queuing for dungeons to troll people by kicking them.

For example, your standard dungeon group in "that other game" is 5 people, and it requires 3 votes to kick. However if 3 people queued together, it will require a 4th vote to kick someone. They simply can't kick just for funsies.

On top of that however, every time you vote to kick someone (either by starting or contributing to a vote) and it is successful, it gives you a cooldown on being able to start a vote kick again. This gets progressively longer, and from what I understand goes as high as 4 hours or more.

Systems like that would make it very hard to abuse it just for the hell of it, and if SE implements this properly it will solve far more problems than it will cause.
