Can't disgard Moonfire Faire reward items and can't place them in Armoire

I accidentally purchased two tops of the wrong gender the first day of the Moonfire Faire and have found no way of getting rid of them. I put in a bug report in-game and asked if they could be removed but haven't heard a peep in a week and the items are still sitting there in my inventory haunting me. I can't even dump them in the Armoire because they're the 15 ash tops and for whatever reason you only seem able to store the 3 ash tops and bottoms.

Currious: Can you mail them to yourself, just as a place to store them so they stop haunting you? Or park them on retainers.

speaking of which...too bad retainers don't have a wardrobe we could manage...that would be a cool feature.

I don't believe that seasonal rewards are mailable nor that you can mail items to yourself, but I'll give it a shot when I get home.

This has happened to me and to many others. But it is not just the fact that the items cannot be discarded (as they are set to be both unique and untradeable). The real issue is that it should be considered a BUG that the vendor is even ALLOWED to sell wrongly gendered, untradeable items. The vendor is blocked from selling you things you cannot afford. The items all KNOW your gender, as indicated by the red or green gender icons on each item. Why is the vendor software allowed to sell you items with wrong gender codes on them? Especially items that you can neither wear, trade, or discard? Hopefully, if I learn weaving and skill up high enough, perhaps I can decompose these items into dark matter or something. Otherwise, we're stuck with wasted slots in either our bags or armoires (and I can't even access the armoire yet because I still haven't got a retainer to open the thing for me.)
ALL THE WRONG GENDERED, UNTRADEABLE, UNUSABLE, UNWEARABLE, UNDISCARDABLE ITEMS SHOULD BE FLAGGED BY THE PROGRAM AS UNAVAILBLE FOR PURCHASE BY THAT CHARACTER.
What is the reputation of a merchant who sells something they know is perfectly useless? It is without honor.

Update: I've researched the skills for decomposing items and it won't matter even if I do learn how. ONLY items with 100% spiritbonding can be decomposed and since you can't USE the wrong gendered items, they can never be spiritbonded or decomposed. These items also do not trade, sell, mail or discard. Everybody who is stuck with one, will have to get GMs to delete it somehow. Good luck. Meanwhile, the vendor bug that allows selling wrong gendered untradeable items still needs to be fixed.
