On a off topic side note, I've been thinking of switching servers for awhile. Was thinking of Balmung, even though I'm not too big on RPing. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I can't speak for Balmung ( My alt is just a level 21 there) but I can Speak for Gilgamesh I doubt Siena would ever leave it now. Met so many great people. When I was just leveling up,random 60's would stop me and open trade and just give me pets/food for the road!

Also, you do get the random emotes from strangers who later on becomes you're friend down the road. Even ran into some nice crafters who have offered to meld/make what I would need for the level 60 relic request.(They also shout in the cities to do the melding for free) There are also some RP events, or you might run into small Rp in cities. But mainly its not overwhelming. Plus fun. So anyway perhaps someone else can chime in on their servers to give you a better Idea of your picking!

Totally butting in here, my bad. But, I've been thinking of moving from Phoenix, it just seems so bland now. Gilgamesh seems pretty cool, I've noticed most of the active posters are from there! I have an alt on Jenova, only cos I was too lazy waiting for Gilga to open up. RIP me.

But right on in! No matter which server you choose rather its Gilga or Balmung or a different one, I think you might like it ^^ Of course every server has their asshats too but I haven't ran into many of them

I have friends and friends'friend that do little to or not at all (I am one of those that don't rp at all) so don't think Balmung is just for rp people. I have a lot of friends that meld for free too. I just always give them tips cuz hey they are my friends, but they are helping me.

In the end of the day, I think all servers have their perks. It is mostly the population size that change.
