Mid-30s and Above Fishing Locations?

Hey guys!

So, I am 34 FSH at the time of this post and have been grinding my levels from 27 at Moondrip, just north of Vesper Bay, with Chocobo Fly Lure to net Grip Killifish 90% of the time and Blindfish 10% of the time (roughly 2,100xp and 2,000xp NQ respectively. About 9k HQ).

Does anyone have a list of where my next grinding spots will be? I love to fish and have a blast, but also want to maximize my xp/hr. I have heard that once I hit 35 I will be able to dunefish, but once again, I don't know where, and same goes for skyfishing. If anyone has a list of the best grinding spots I would be infinitely grateful, as I'm sure the other fishers my level would be as well. I will gladly pass on this information to every fisher I speak to because it is very hard to find this info on the interwebz... and the YouTube "guides" do NOT have the best spots to fish. At all. They recommend Costa for 30+... lol.

Fishing in Costa Del Sol with spoon worms is great at level 30's range. Once you get to 35, you get the dune fishing skill and you can do a class quest to catch a desert catfish. Teleport to Forgotten Springs, buy a stack of sand leeches from the town vendor and head out to Byregot's Strike then head straight east till you see a cliff with lots of sand flying around inside the chasm. This is the Sagolii Dunes fishing spot; you can fish here for your level 35 class quest and level up as well.

At 34 fullmoon sardines at Costa del Sol give over 2500 exp and the HQ ones over 11k EXP.....

I caught Fullmoon Sardines at level 30 for the class quest and they weren't giving near that even back then. Either the exp was nerfed (doubtful) or someone here has wrong numbers.

Not to mention that your catch rate on them is low... and night only. Not exactly good to grind, at all.

Another place you can try fishing is north of Costa Del Sol at the North Bloodshore spot (where the ladies are dance training in their swimsuits xD). Fish here with herring balls. You can catch a few things here that are good for goldsmiths (oysters and red coral). You can also catch sea pickles for the triple-turn-in fishing leve in Costa Del Sol.

I just went from 30 to 33 at this spot, and these numbers are correct. While the other fish gave lesser XP per level, the sardines stayed at an even 2500-2550 through those levels. Just my 2 cents.

EDIT: True, those only come out at night, so probably not the best grind location, but I liked the music and everything I needed was at hand there so it was fun for me to stay there

Just went 36-38 fishing in just over an hour. North of Costa del sol at the waterfall. Look for Curious Gorge the NPC, if you see the naked dancing mithra you've gone too far :P lvl 35 ocean live bait sold from del sol. Puffers @ 3k each, almost 11k for HQ. You either catch puffers or the fish gets away < 10% of the time. For bonus points they're selling for 250ish gil each on Cactaur.

Earlier 30s I was all over the place, but Everschade in Central shroud and the east dune fishing where the L35 quest sends you were both notable xp. If you're in the area and it is night then del sol is still good. North of Vesper kept eating my fly lures but the numbers were nice :S
